The System
Our OP-cleanroom ceiling belongs to the newest generation. It is installed into the OR as a suspended ceiling and consists of an air supply system, terminal high-efficiency particulate air filters H14 (alternatively H13), in accordance with DIN EN 1822, a pressure corpus made of anodized aluminium or stainless steel including a silencer and circulated-air modules. The circulated air-modules contain – as seen in airflow direction – an intake, an F9 filter in accordance with DIN EN 779, a silencer, ventilators with check valve and an air supply connection. Operating mode: The room air is taken in at the circulated-air modules, here mixed with additional air processed by the air conditioner and transported into the pressure corpus installed above the filter ceiling. Then, the filtered clean air flows into the OR and forms a protected zone. The ideal cleanair output of the ceiling low in turbulence provides a homogenous disperse surface without dead bands.

Modern OP lighting is based on LED technology.
Low surface and light temperatures create a low degree of turbulence. Illuminance, illumination of operating fields as well as colour temperature are individually adjustable.

Ceiling supply unit
The ceiling supply unit offers a variety of compact and highly ergonomic configurations and takes up little space in the valuable nursing sector. It is flexible and uncomplicated in its use – for more ergonomics
Media bridge
All technical devices known in an OR can be attached to the media bridge with an optimal radius. The OR media bridge can be equipped with all appliances up to the column interfaces in the factory ready for installation.

The System
Naturally, digital media have been part of the cleanroom for some time now. However, very often the devices do not comply with the standards for process safety in the cleanroom. GHK DOMO develops and produces image viewing systems which can be installed flush into the wall systems and can therefore be used safely behind a wipe-disinfectable surface.
